My Terrific Kid for March is Cruz Powell! I easily chose Cruz as our Terrific Kid for this month as he is one hard working kid. He always gives his best at everything he does, which surely leads to success! Cruz is also kind, fun, respectful, and an all around great kid. Congratulations, Cruz, for being so Terrific!
My Terrific Kid this month is Rose Rollins. She has a quiet, sweet and gentle spirit. She has a big huge heart and wouldn't hurt anything or anyone. She has empathy for others as well and the children say she is a great friend. I feel blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know her. She has had a bit of a rough year for various reasons and keeps on trying and doing what is expected of her. She has perseverance and determination at the same time. I am proud to have nominated her as our Terrific Kid this month. Love Mrs. Andrews and the Alligators.
James Marini has a "can do it" attitude! When he faces challenges or difficulties, he has the drive to keep working even when he wants to give up. James knows the job needs to get done and should be to the best of his ability. So he digs in, tries harder, and sticks with it, even when he's frustrated. Way to go James!
Kinsley Huffstetler has a beautiful light that shines so bright in our classroom. Her character is something that all our classmates can look up to. She always helps her teammates when they need it and practices the Mustang way every day! She shows her classmates how to be a team player, friend, and most of all a person someone can look up to. We are so thankful to have you as our Terrific Kid! We love you, Mrs. Sipprell and the Pirates!
Juliette Marini is a hard worker and strives for excellence in all she does. She always ask for clarification if she is unsure of something and works diligently to complete all of her assignments accurately and neatly. Not to mention, she is super sweet and always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Congratulations, Juliette!
Lily Walters is such a kind and sweet kid. She sends me nice and encouraging messages on Clever. Every day she gives her best. I can always find her working hard and doing what she is supposed to do! Congratulations, Lily!
Kaiden Cribbs gives 110% every day. He never quits or gives up even when it gets difficult. He welcomes a challenge! His classmates said "he never gives up even if he doesn't know the answer." You are Terrific, Kaiden! Love, Mrs. Johnston
Olivia Parker is a Terrific Kid. She comes to school every day ready to learn. She has worked very hard this year, mastered all of the sight words, and is now earning AR points as a kindergartner. We are so proud of you, Olivia! Keep up the great work! Love, Miss Johns and the SuperKinders.
Connor Huntley was chosen as Terrific Kid this month because of his amazing work ethic and ability to persevere. When things get difficult, Connor does exactly what he needs to do to buckle down and complete the task at hand. He has shown this numerous times this school year and his teachers and classmates couldn't be more proud of him in his accomplishments. Way to go Connor! We love you!
Perseverance is THE PERFECT word to describe Urijah Parmeter! He has an amazing attitude toward learning and he understands that we don't always answer a question or problem perfectly the 1st time, that we sometimes have to PERSEVERE and rework until we do an answer correctly… and that is what being a strong student is about!!
Marli Hemphill is 6th grades terrific kid for the month of March. Marli exemplifies the true definition of perseverance. She has the staying power to follow through and exert the effort it takes to achieve her goals. Marli works hard and will do whatever is in her power to overcome any challenges she faces. Congratulations to these Melrose students for being a shining example of an "upstander." An upstander is a person who see something wrong and takes positive action to make it right. They will do all they can to protect and support anyone who is being treated unfairly or intentionally hurt. Congratulations to each of these students!
Mrs Johnston's Terrific Kid for February is Iah. Iah is extremely caring towards all people and animals. Her classmates said that if she sees that someone is sad or hurt, she'll ask them what is wrong. Iah, it is so wonderful to have such a caring student that is always thinking of others. This month's Terrific Kid in Mr. Johnston's class is Jayden Silver. When I think of the phrase of " practically perfect in every way " Jayden Silver comes to mind. Alexander Mosley shows an enormous amount of empathy and caring every day in our class. I can always count on Alex to lend a hand when one of our classmates has trouble.
