This month's Terrific Kid in Mr. Johnston's class is Jayden Silver. When I think of the phrase of " practically perfect in every way " Jayden Silver comes to mind. Alexander Mosley shows an enormous amount of empathy and caring every day in our class. I can always count on Alex to lend a hand when one of our classmates has trouble. Isabella Shirley was chosen to Terrific Kid for February because of her outstanding character and excellent citizenship qualities. She is kind and caring towards her classmates and exhibits respect for her teacher. Isabella is a trustworthy young lady who values her friends. Kaleb Collins really does care about his fellow classmates. I have noticed that he gets the work for others when they are absent, and this is a job he earned without being asked. He always looks out for someone that might be left out of something. He makes sure everyone gets a turn, he is a second set of eyes making sure everyone gets a fair shake, not just himself. He is first to offer to share with his classmates and he is really concerned about others and genuinely cares. I want to thank you, Kaleb for your kind and generous heart! Our terrific kid for the month of February is Charlotte Walters. When it comes to "caring" I can think of no one more terrific than Charlotte. She looks out for everyone, and lights up the whole room with her sweet smile and fun-loving personality! We love you, Charlotte, and are truly blessed to have you in our class!

Cody Musgrove is a very polite young man whose hard work pays off in the classroom. He is a team player and constantly participates in class. He is a pleasure to have in the classroom and sets a great example for those around him.

Autumn is polite, she is thoughtful, and she is always considerate to the feelings of others. Autumn cares deeply about her schoolwork, our classroom, and about her family and friends. Ava Screen is a hard working student and a voracious reader. She challenges herself and never gives up, even when she doesn't have an instant answer. She is also helpful and kind to everyone, always willing to go that extra mile. What a Terrific Kid!
Tyler Baker treats his classmates with kindness and generosity, and is never mean or hurtful. He is sensitive to people's feelings and looks for ways to help those in need. Tyler thinks about how his actions will affect others and remembers that we become a caring person by doing caring things.
