The character word for this month is caring, and I instantly thought of Autumn Foust to be our Terrific Kid. Autumn is polite, she is thoughtful, and she is always considerate to the feelings of others. Autumn cares deeply about her schoolwork, our classroom, and about her family and friends. We love you, Autumn, for your kind heart and gentle spirit. You are truly Terrific!!
Ava Screen is a hard working student and a voracious reader. She challenges herself and never gives up, even when she doesn't have an instant answer. She is also helpful and kind to everyone, always willing to go that extra mile. What a Terrific Kid!
Tyler Baker treats his classmates with kindness and generosity, and is never mean or hurtful. He is sensitive to people's feelings and looks for ways to help those in need. Tyler thinks about how his actions will affect others and remembers that we become a caring person by doing caring things.
