Josh Meadows is the terrific kid for our class. He is happy to be at school and participate in the group life of the class daily. I am very proud of the progress he is making this school year, great job Josh!
Charlie Ruhmpohl is 6th grade's terrific kid. Charlie shows excellent citizenship by being a safety patrol member who raises and lowers our flag daily. Charlie adds to the strength of our school just like a good citizen adds to the strength of our nation.
Bentley Lockhart always follows the rules of our school and helps find ways to make our classroom a better learning environment. He's also a good friend and helps his classmates whenever there is a need.
Hannah Poovey shows her citizenship every day by being responsible, being respectful, and being an active learner. She also helps keep our classroom in tip top order by helping others to organize their things, cleaning up when there's a mess, and making sure chairs are pushed in, to name a few. She is a great helper, follows the school rules, and is always ready to learn. Thank you for your excellent citizenship in our classroom, Hannah!!
Carson Wallace is a super student. He does his classwork and hands in his homework each day with a smile. He is a super helper in our classroom, is trustworthy and cares about his classmates. Carson is a wonderful big brother, he walks his little sister to class each morning to see she has a great day. We are extremely fortunate to have you in our classroom, you are the kind of student who makes teaching a joy. You are an inspiration to us all.
Gaige Roberson works hard! He is a friendly young man who pays attention and contributes to the class with enthusiastic participation. And he ask really interesting questions! Great work GaIge!
Hunter O'Donnell is always willing to lend a hand in cleaning up around our classroom and our school. He is one of the 1st ones to go around the class and make sure that everyone has thrown away their garbage and that the room is tidy and neat. There have been several times this year that while walking on the sidewalk, he has stopped to pick up trash and thrown it away without having to be asked. Keep up the great work Hunter!
Bradley Hilton is so kind to others, especially his mom and Mrs. Hebert. Bradley sure is terrific!
Lucas Pitts is an awesome student who does everything to the best of his abilities. We are so glad you are in our class, Lucas!

James Malloy sets the bar for being a model student. He is trustworthy, loyal, and always sets a good example for all students to follow. He truly takes our Mustang way to heart and follows it every day. Congratulations James!
Jaelyn Keen is responsible, respectful of others, and kind to her classmates. One of my favorite things about her is that she does not get caught up in any of the drama others do. She does what she is supposed to do ans never looks unhappy about it. She is awesome!
Shayna Hummel demonstrates responsibility everyday by showing up and giving her best. She also brightens each day with her beautiful smile!

Ella Nettle is terrific in soooo many ways! Her classmates said, "she is the most positive person I have ever met" and "she always does what she is supposed to do and more! " We are so proud of Ella.
October is National Principal Appreciation Month!
Today we are honoring Leah Lundy from Melrose Elementary School.
When asked what her favorite thing about being a principal was she responded: "Watching children get excited about the little things and learning from such amazing teachers!"
