Students cast their ballots this week during our annual student government elections—with real voting machines and official ballots, thanks to the support of the Putnam County Supervisor of Elections team.
Since 2019, this hands-on experience has helped Knights engage in the democratic process while learning what it means to lead, campaign, and represent their class.

We're excited to share an opportunity from the Education Foundation of Putnam County, Inc. to celebrate outstanding students in our community! The Foundation is now accepting nominations for the "Successful Citizen Award." This award recognizes students in grades 6–12 who demonstrate:
No disciplinary referrals
Respect, compassion, empathy, and community engagement
A meaningful “passion project” that positively impacts others
Award: $250 per recipient
Deadline: October 10, 2025

The Class of 2025 earned a 78% AICE Diploma rate, and nearly 60% of the Class of 2026 is already on track. Diploma recipients who complete 100 service hours qualify for the Bright Futures Scholarship—full tuition at any Florida state university.
